Four minus one...

On Friday Josh and I had an opportunity to spend time with just Makayla. Uncle Bubba came and got Drew since his birthday is coming up and wanted to treat him and even let him spend the night with him. So Josh and I took this opportunity to not only spend some one on one time with JUST MAKAYLA but to also shop for his birthday. This was the first time we have been with our little girl ALONE since he was born. The first picture you will see was when it was just the three of us. The second Drew was there as you can see from the looks of my swollen face. Finally, the last picture we took on Friday. I pray for many more opportunities like this for one on one time. I remember looking so forward to that with my own parents as a child. Now that I am a sold out believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, I long to be alone with my Father as well and how important it is. I pray that as Josh and I take time out alone with each of our children that we are ONLY gearing them up and pointing them to HIM and HIM alone. I pray that their little hearts will beat for HIM and the less they see of us (our flesh) the more I pray they will see of HIM! After all I believe it is HIM writing our story..... I am excited to watch them grow and BLESSED that HE has called me alongside.

Just in case anyone wanted to know...We spent the whole afternoon with our sweet little girl and my brother (Uncle Bubba) did call me at 10pm Friday night and said that our little boy was crying for his momma...So we actually just spent the evening with her. The time we did have was AMAZING and getting Drew home that late was just icing on the cake to complete our family once again...

Signs and wonders...

After last nights storm we were blessed to be with our church family during all that. Reminded me of a song "better is one day in your courts" When we got home Josh and I just stood amazed on our deck taking pictures and taping just how AMAZING GOD IS! Who could put on such a display of beauty? I will admit i do not like storms particular tornados. I remember when i was in 3rd grade a tornado hit and I was terrified that my sister was on a fieldtrip my baby brother was in the cafeteria eating, my parents were at some meeting for work and I was in the principal's office under his desk with lots of other screaming kids just as terrified as I was...I think i even saw a counselor that year for that one. I remember if I woke up and it looked like it was going to storm that day, I was all of a sudden sick and could not go to school. I wanted to stay in my parents presence. Now as a sold out believer, I can look back at those times and times like this and see HIS hand in all of this, and how HE IS IN CONTROL. Today as I was doing my biblestudy I heard Beth Moore quote a scripture in 2 Timothy 1:7 " God has not given us the spirit of fear but of power and love and of a sound mind." WOW a sound mind. Whom shall I fear? Anyway thanks for letting me share these with you. By the way pay close attention to the last picture. During the lightning, I was trying to take pictures and be as still as I possibly could and it appears that there are 2 stars I captured, which was unique being that it was so dark, and cloudy looking and we couldn't see a star in the sky until I saw this picture...

You pick which one and size

Ok so how do you take pictures of this cute little guy and not just crack up. He had me in stitches at different times. Look at these faces! These were my best ones of him. Wasn't sure of which ones and sizes to get for our family. Aunt Sarah you and Aunt Dawne usually get a small one is it 3 x 5? or 4 x 6? Everyone just let me know which one and size.

I'm back!!

It has been a while since I have blogged. Thank you all for praying for me during all these blood test and EKG's ect. I am confident that my God is much bigger than all these and I am so ready to be well again. We spent some time at Papaw's and mamaw's this saturday and it is so nice to just sit and relax once and awhile and let them spend some time with our busy toddlers. We always have a great time there in their playground!!

JUST IN CASE YOU WONDERED WHAT THE HAPPIEST BOY ON EARTH LOOKS LIKE...HERE HE IS!
