From my devotional...
"Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will hold on to you with My righteous right hand" (Isaiah 41:10)
Dear child,
Before you were even born, I knew what every single one of your days was going to look like (Psalm 139:16). Whatever circumstances you face in your life are not going to surprise Me. I have everything you will need, and I will walk you through every step of the way.
When you feel helpless and worried, let that be a sign to you that you need to turn to ME. I am your refuge and strength, a helper who is always found in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).
When you worry, dear one, know that it robs you of your present. Worry also robs you of satisfaction. When you're worried, it's so difficult to be thankful and to realize how I have taken care of you. Worry displaces thanksgiving in your heart. And when thanksgiving is displaced from your heart, despair is soon to follow. Come to Me. You don't have to strive and strain to make things happen. My plan for your life is a good one. All I've asked you to do is to trust Me. I'll walk with you step by step. There's nothing that we can't tackle together.
I don't promise that life will be easy, but in the hard times, turn to Me you will find Me there ready to hold you while your world shakes. I will protect you. I will carry you if you need carrying. I will hold your hand and walk you through it all. Don't worry about the possible hard times that may or may not come. When they do come, you and I will face them together (Isaiah 43:2). I will give you everything you need. Thought youo may stumble, you will not fall because I will uphold you with My hand (Psalm 37:23-24) It makes Me sad when you stress and strain and worry about things I have promised aI will provide. I have you life covered-- down to the tiniest detail. I love you. Please trust me.
I will trust in You, Lord, with all my heart and not rely on my own understanding. I will think about You in all my ways and You will guide me on the right paths (Proverbs 3:5-6)
Do we truly trust HIM?? Do we truly Fear HIM??? His creation speaks volumes. We are such a tiny speck. Don't believe me? Maybe this will help us all see us sinful, wretched, tiny speck for what we really are... copy and paste this and see for yourself... It is only a little over 5 minutes and I encourage you to watch the rest of the series :) You will be amazed!

For Aunt Patti
Psalm 20:1-5
May the LORD answer you in the day of trouble; May the name of the God of Jacob defend you;May He send you help from the sanctuary,And strengthen you out of Zion; May He remember all your offerings, And accept your burnt sacrifice.May He grant you according to your heart's desire, And fulfill all your purpose. We will rejoice in your salvation, And in the name of our God we will set up our banners! May the LORD fulfill all your petitions.
Aunt Patti,
Since I know you look at our blog every night I wanted to share some encouragement with you. You may already know each one but just wanted to share a few with you. We love you and will continue to pray for you during this time and also Praise God for who HE is!
Psalm 28:7
The LORD is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices,And with my song I will praise Him.
Psalm 3:3-6
But You, O LORD, are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head. I cried to the LORD with my voice, And He heard me from His holy hill. I lay down and slept; I awoke, for the LORD sustained me. I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people. Who have set themselves against me all around.

Makayla really enjoyed just having Aunt Patti to herself this time.
Looks like Aunt Patti is a puppeteer as well...
This one just cracked us all up!!
Again Makayla enjoyed just having Aunt Patti sitting there and every now and then she might let her help but mostly just to turn all the pieces over :)
So what can Aunt Patti be trying to look at? You have to get a closer look and what all this little boy dressed up as for Aunt Patti and Uncle Lu...
You probably dont know whats on his back unless you are The Baril's or Ellsworth's since they too (Im sure have worn this) It is a ladybug costume with frog eyes and the shamrock glasses to complete his costume.
Seriously! Can you tell who's kid this is, or WHAT??
