Makayla can't balance a spoon on her nose like her cousins but she loved cracking mommy up by "balancing this cd". She thought she was really something!! She is too cute.

Fun at Emma's House
We had such a blast this weekend spending time with this wonderful family God has allowed us to cross paths with. Thanks again Stan and Dana! Hope to do this again real soon. :)

A Cold Thursday
We had a great visit from Papa yesterday. It has been soo cold outside but for those who dont know after breakfast the kids do what we call "naked baby time" I had their clothes in the dryer they love putting on warm clothes straight from the dryer. ( I hope to break this from them soon!)

Doctor Visit
Makayla was all smiles until Dr. J came to examine her. Turns out she has a viral infection. We were there for over an hour due to some different procedures they did to rule out different things. Needless to say i didnt get a chance to take anymore pictures because I had 2 fussy babies that carried over to the rest of the afternoon!Tuesday, January 15, 2008
Locks Of Love
Today I gave my hair to the Locks of Love. What a wonderful feeling to give something so little. I have to admit i was a little worried about how my short hair would look. I talked to a dear friend of mine who constantly reminds me of God's Love. Thank you Reina!!
There is a little girl whom I have never met. I know her name is Brandy at Pleasant View Elementary. We prayed for her at my old church at Joelton First Baptist and I was moved at how she gave her hair and a few days later got cancer herself. To some this may sound so small but was so huge to me being that I too have 2 children at which one is my sweet little girl. I too have a little girl and I can't help to not just think of this little girl Brandy but her mother as well. I have been praying for both during this time in their lives and I know we serve a Mighty God!!

Gymnastics (Drew Brady's Debut)
Yep thats Drew Brady he did not want to stretch. Makayla was the only one so they said Drew could play around and maybe jump.
AND JUMP HE DID!! He loved it!!
Makayla has been doing situps since she was 4 months old so this was a piece of cake.

Trying something "NEW"....
Makayla finally decided to try on her new princess outfits and wigs.
Daddy & I were also quick to tell her that while it is fun to make believe that God made her special and HE and we love her just like she is...(like the dvd our friend Maria got us called GIGI) Makayla is a real princess because she is the daughter of a real KING! Thanks Maria for that Dvd!!! :)
