Makayla's Biblegirl Party

Worth It All....

Josh and I were so blessed that Mamaw watched the kids on friday so we could paint Makayla's room. As I was painting the yellow, Josh called and was on his way home to help me I was immediately not my cheerful self for I just knew I was going to disappoint my daughter. She had requested pink and yellow walls. I knew I had the same yellow for the bathroom and wanting to save money, I just thought i would use that yellow for her room. Problem was that when the pink was on the opposite wall, the yellow kinda looked orange...As hard as her daddy and I worked that orange to her didnt matter...Just look at that beautiful smile that lit up the whole room as she entered in for the first time!! Ahhh well worth it... Thanks again Mamaw for making this possible!

God is so good...How awesome is this...I won!!

Looking back as we approach Makayla's 4th birthday

Just remembering some milestones we have conquered... this first picture is the last picture I have of her in a diaper and the second picture is the first one I have of her going big girl potty. The 3rd picture is the last picture of her baby bed in her room and the 4th picture is her first night in her big girl bed (which used to be mine when i was a little girl) ...Don't blink soon I will have her graduation pictures posted!!

Almost there....(I think)

Most of you who keep up with blogging will remember when Makayla first was potty trained just after her 2 yr birthday and since her 4th birthday is approaching makes me realize..TIME REALLY DOES FLY!

You all will also know how if been working with Drew Brady as well. I am excited and also sad all at the same time. Yesterday I bought him some new spiderman underwear and he has been wearing them all day so far today. Right now it is 11am and no diaper and if you look at our new week on our chart board you will find that he is finally using the potty for now...

I know I will miss these moments but I am so blessed how God has allowed me to stay home with them so I dont miss a thing. Though some days "Im ready" to go back to work , truth be known. This is what I love and I'm right where God has placed me and as I'm teaching my children the 10 commandments. I should be content! Thank you all for the encouragement and for watching my children grow with me :)

Easter Sunday

A new tradition..Since Josh has been reading the Christmas Story from the bible every christmas morning then I thought what about Easter? So we have a new tradition started with reading about Christ resurrection before the rest of our morning begins on Easter sunday.






































After hunting eggs we went on Grandma's farm with Little Lindsey and got to get up close and personal with this horse.
